I played this clip at work this afternoon. Next thing I know, I had a half-dozen people in my office checking it out.
The story behind the clip can be found here (http://www.snopes.com/photos/arts/xmaslights.asp). This clip, which has been around since Christmas 2004, just started spreading this year. Part of it was actually licensed by Miller Lite for a commercial. No word on what the owner spent on the light display in the clip, but his 2005 display cost $10k. Apparently, he broadcasts the accompanying music (Trans-Siberian Orchestra's "Wizard in Winter" in the clip) on a low-power FM transmitter, so his neighbors don't have to listen to it ad nauseam.

Ya know, I'm kind of surprised that the RIAA isn't after this guy for rebroadcasting the music. It would fit right in with their lawsuits against teenagers.
