Has anyone trained in Iaido and found it to be applicable to knives as well?

I believe that there are similar tanto techniques. Check out the tanto book by Russell Maynard, for example.

Wow! I checke dit out at Amazon--$155! The 1986 copy on my shelf has a $7.95 price marked on it!

I guess it's a really good book.

It's not as bad as "Cards as Weapons" though, that one's around $300-$600 second hand.

Not that I know of....
I would stick with FMA for knife work..There are some fine instructors out there.
