Seminar with Mr. Ed Parker Jr.

We are very proud to announce that Mr. Ed Parker Jr. will be giving a kenpo seminar in Denmark this spring. The seminar will take place at Fehe Dojo in Odense in Denmark and will be a six hour seminar covered in two days, the 15th and 16th of april 2006 from 11-14 o’clock.

Prices: Before February 2nd 2006: 80 Euro
After February 2nd 2006: 100 Euro

There will be a limit to the number of people who can participate, so the sooner you register, the better.

Don’t miss this great and cheap oppotunity to meet and train with one of the greatest persons in the Kenpo world today.

If you want to participate please write an email to Thomas Hansen at tk@galnet.dk.
Accomodation will be available at a local hotel (3 person rooms) for only 35 euros per night including a continental breakfeast. If you want to stay at the hotel you have to tell us this when you sign up, otherwise you are welcome to sleep in our dojo.

I've had the pleasure and honor of being a (sign-language) interpreter for one of his seminars. Also had the pleasure of having a few minutes to chat one on one with the man. Found him to be intelligent and quite amicable.
The seminar is well worth attending, not to be missed by Kenpoist and other arts as well.

Hello all,

Just want to give our seminar a "Bump" up the list...

We are very excited, as this is our school's first big event. Mr. Parker Jr. has been very helpfull, and trough our communication I reaaly get the feeling that this will be an excellent event.

As you may have noticed we have scheduled the seminar in the easter holiday, so hopefully some of all you European Kenpoist will have the time off, to come and join us...
Odense http://www.odense.dk/Web/English.aspx is a wonderfull city, and since the seminar is 3 hours each day, there will be enough time to see the city an it's attractions aswell... Among these, the most famous is the house of Hans Christian Anderson... If anyone would like to bring their families along, this would be a great opportunity to see one of Scandinavia's most beautifull cities!

After the seminar, we will post pictures, and hopefully, this summer we will be able to anounce the next big name to visit our club, since the plan is to bring in at least one major player from the kenpo scene each year, to help shape our international profile.

How easy/economical is it for an American to get around Denmark?

I'm not in a position where I can take an expensive trip....but I've got some frequent flyer miles that are about to expire, and I'm long overdue for a vacation.

I've got enough miles for a flight in to Copenhagen. If I can actaully book an itinerary around that weekend without running in to any blackout date restrictions, I'd love to attend.

I’m trilled to hear that you are interested in attending our seminar...

To go around Denmark is not at all very expensive. Odense, where the seminar is helled is located about 100 miles from Copenhagen. It is very easy to take a train directly from the airport, that goes straight to Odense. The cost is 225 DKR, that is around 36 UDS for a one-way ticket.

The seminar is 100 USD, so all in all these are the expenses.
