it feels nice when you move up
feels like it's paying off...
now go back in the alley and pick a fight
take the belt with you, you might need it

it's a belt that is yellow in color.
they give it to you at MA schools when you pass a test...
then, out of boredom, they give you different colors.
any color goes well with jeans anyway

Congratulations! If I'm reading your profile right, aren't you already a black belt in another style? If so, you already have some idea of the road ahead.

Yes, it is true. That was like 15+ years ago when I was a youngin. I know of the road ahead will not be easy, but I am in no hurry. After all, MA's is a lifelong journey.

True, true. Congrats all the same though. So many never take the first step on their journey. You've traveled one road as far as few others would go and are still willing to take another trip.

I'm so going to have to have a chat with my Kru. 13 years of Muay Thai and no belt to show for it! :ultracool Oh, the humanity!

Congrads! Since you been in another MA, you know what the journey can be like, so just enjoy it this time around ;) I am testing for high red in TKD (in Nov), but I am also a white belt in Jujitsu. It's the weirdest feeling, but I love learning MA, so it doesn't bother me a bit. It's the journey that counts. Enjoy the ride, and enjoy training ;)

Well done, keep it going. I remember back when I was promoted from white to yellow belt, I was on cloud 9 - on top of the world with that feat. The MA road is still a long one as you know. The study of MAs is really infinite, but to me it's a real fun roady that's for sure...

I love people who post this on threads like these. Did he add anything of note? Nope, just reminding us that superior fighting arts don't need belts.
