Recently I had a bad virus problem with my pc, so, apparently, it had to be "rebuilt"...by a friend!
it works ok now and I do have virus protection........BUT I have lost the dvd player mode can anyone help out.

You probably need a decoder for Media Player, make sure you got the latest version and then... Here ya go:
