MartialTalk Announces new “KenpoTalk Community”



Buffalo NY February 14, 2005 – MartialTalk.com, one of the premier Internet destinations for martial arts enthusiasts, announced today that it is developing a new resource and community site for the Kenpo Community called “KenpoTalk”. While the full feature set is still under consideration, the site will feature resources and historical archives as well as a friendly discussion forum. KenpoTalk, located at kenpotalk.com, is being jointly developed by MartialTalk.com and SilverStar WebDesigns Inc, and will be a cornerstone in the new SilverStar Community Network. The site is set for a March 1st 2005 opening.



About The SilverStar Community Network – The SCN is a growing network of various internet communities and resource sites dedicated to the open and friendly exchange of ideas. Currently encompassing 6 community and resource sites the network is planned to grow to at least a dozen communities by end of year 2005. Among it’s planned features are targeted content feeds shared between it’s members. The SCN is maintained by SilverStar WebDesigns Inc. in cooperation with several partner companies. Kenpo practitioners I believe make up about 40% of our membership, and the 3 kenpo forums are our largest art-specific sections. :)

I just registered on KenpoTalk & it was pretty painless, except for one thing: please have the webmaster change the background color for registering your username & e-mail address; it's very hard to read white letters on a light yellow background (so much squinting!).

Ok, I did a quick check. Do you have any toolbars installed, like Googles? All of the boxes should be the same grey-blue color, but under IE it seems the Google Toolbar highlights certain boxes. I'll do a bit more digging shortly. :)

Yes, I do have the Google toolbar.
