Hello everyone,

My name is Jim. I've been doing Judo for 18 years. I'm currently a 3rd degree black belt and will be for about another year and a half, or so. I've also done a wee bit of Hapkido. I was the head coach of the Judo Club at Central Michigan University for 14 years, until this past May. I left Central Michigan, the Mt. Pleasant area and my club to move to Ypsilanti, Michigan. I'm studying Sociial Work at Eastern Michigan. Imagine the flak I took for becoming a student at a cross-state rival. I'm looking forward to some good discussions on this forum. Cheers.

nice to meet you and it's always good to have another judoka on the board...i've been studying about two years and just never seem to get around to promotion...but i'm a dang good yellow belt...if i do say so myself..
