You should probably start by mining the resources at http://www.koryu.com

See here's where your gonna start running into trouble. What do you do with instructors who are... controversial at best. Do you list them in the database or exclude them? A search for "Sensei Tarver" over on http://www.e-budo.com turned up the following thread in their Baffling Budo forum http://www.e-budo.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=25084&highlight=Sensei+Tarver

All baffling budo can do is criticize the man's hairdo in 1992. Not his art, or his books!:ultracool

I think a more careful read will prove otherwise.

Charles is right there. You should go back and re-read the entire thread.

Here's another thread on another forum

Saigo Ha Daito ryu / John J. Williams (http://www.swordforumbugei.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=2059)

Everytime he posts, he (Mr. Williams) flat outright embarasses himself.

Same situation with this threat on Aikido journal (http://aikidojournal.ubernet.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6310&start=30)

Master M. What branch of MJER are you with? I believe there are some of Komei Sekiguchi Sesei's people in Texas.

Take care

Master M? heh. That's a good one. :uhyeah:

But yes there are Komei Jyuku guys out in Lubbock I believe. I'm in Denton and train at Ray-sensei's dojo. We are a member of the Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu Seitokai and affiliated with the Zen Nippon Iaido Renmei. Which are two different ways of saying that we're under Ikeda-soke's organization. http://www.dentondojo.com
