Like butterfly knives, but bigger. It sounds like the techniques they use are similar?

I've seen a number of references to BFN and AFAIK BFNs are part of the regular WC curiculum. These appear to be a regional variant, but I wasn't able to find much else info wise on em.

They're new to me.

It sounds as though they're used in place of butterfly knives in this system.
