Call for Articles - General Self Defense

I would like to feature some articles on self defense in the November MartialTalk magazine. These can be anything from some tips n tricks, to detailed strategies, to concepts, to a review on certain programs or video tapes. If you have something other in mind, please let me know. I'm pretty flexible.

Article length should be at minimum 1 8x11 page, size 11 Times Roman font, single spaced. Some graphics are also fine. Please see the submission guidelines at http://martialtalk.com/magazine for full info.

Deadline is October 20th.

Do you want articles on techniques and strategies alone or "this happened to me" type stories...
they're true... they're alll true ... we swear! ;)

Likewise do you accept electronic formats?

Whatever you'd like to send as long as it conforms to the lose guidelines. :)

I usually tell folks, write what you wish the other mags would publish.

As to electronic formats, I'm drawing a blank here...(cold medicine)

I prefer plain text, MS word (or compatable) formats. E-mailed as text is good too. PDF doesn't import right for some reason. If you have a different format, let me know and I'll see if I can import it or easily convert it.
