I and my fiancé Mari were featured on an episode of House Hunters International for Tokyo, Japan recently. Insomuch as I know, Im the first martial artist to grace the show, and even though it was nowhere near as much footage as I would have liked, we did a bit of MA footage in there too. Nice. My wife and I love House Hunters. How much involvement do they have in the house search? Hows the place you picked working out for you?

Hi Bob, sorry for the slow response... Glad you like the show. So far, the place we picked has been awesome. We just love it. The location is great, and even though its a bit smaller, we have been really happy with the choice. They don't have all that much involvement with the actual house search... except that if you don't have one already, they recommend a real estate agent who speaks English for you (who then chooses the houses)... so I guess indirectly, they are involved, just a bit ;)

Cool. The International show seemed more documentary than the US one which seemed like it was 1 or 2 realtors doing lots of work. My wife and I just did our own search and are working through the negotiations with the current owners now...bit pain in the neck, lol.
