I don't know if any of you are near the San Fernando Valley of Los Angeles, but this weekend and next are a couple of Japanese cultural center events. Not sure what the schedule is for M.A. demos.

Next weekend, 4th of July weekend, is the SF Valley Japanese American Community Center event. It's Saturday and Sunday, July 3 & 4. I didn't see much info on the event, but it's similar to Sun Valley. Here's a link to their site.

I don't know about the rest of the country, but there are events like this throughout the Summer in Southern California at various community centers and churches/temples.
